Discover the History of Elsbeth
The „Zum Pulvermacher“ Museum invites visitors on an exciting journey through the history of Elsbeth. Spread across three floors, numerous exhibits offer insights into the town’s former gunpowder production, its natural and local history, and rural life in days gone by.
A special focus is placed on gunpowder manufacturing, which shaped Elsbethen for centuries and ceased in 1918. The exhibition is complemented by fossils from the Glasenbach Gorge and other artifacts from the region’s history.
